As AP exams continue to modernize, students in 2025 will see more subjects offered in digital format than ever before. Whether you're sitting a fully digital or hybrid AP exam, knowing the test structure and dates is essential for success.
This guide by Tutoring Space outlines which exams are digital, how the format works, and the official AP exam schedule for May 2025.
Digital AP exams are administered at school using the Bluebook testing app, developed by the College Board. These exams maintain the same question types, duration, and scoring rubrics as paper exams. Students will use laptops or tablets and may still write on scratch paper.
Important: AP digital exams are taken in school under supervision or at authorized AP testing centers.
The following exams will be completed entirely through Bluebook:
AP Psychology
